Local Films selection:

Four short films produced in the upper prairie region, three by members of the Morris Community. Total length: 70mins.

"In the Shadow" was created by Ferolyn Angell, a dance film inspired by stories about Ferolyn's mother's family and their experiences as a Christian family with Jewish heritage during Hitler's reign in Germany.

"The Farm" documents life on a prairie farm and was filmed and produced by M.R. Fitzgerald.

The final two films are meditations on the recent pipeline protests at Standing Rock.

"Mni Waconi Life after NODAPL" was directed by Samuel Yuan with Justice Robinson and Andrea Wathanaphone.

"Desolation Blues" was produced and directed by Sky Hopinka.
